My sister Dolly spent her final 7 weeks of her life at the Hospice. She said it was her home. She was treated with dignity and kindness and I am forever grateful to the staff for that. We were able to have her favorite beer with her, and on her last day, we, as a family, sat beside her, toasted her and all had the opportunity to have precious moments with her before she passed. Thank you for caring.
“My friend was a very proud man. Although he had accepted his terminal diagnosis, he was adamant he was going to live his days with dignity and respect – no pity party. The nurses treated him with the greatest of care, but more importantly, they treated him as the intelligent successful businessman he was. He loved his baths…and he loved his Coors Light in his bedroom fridge.”
